A Unique Way to Protect Your Property

General Asset ID Information

General Asset ID Information

A number of the Asset ID Tags and Labels we offer feature a unique printing or production process and/or product attribute. We have highlighted a few of these below along with an explanation of how they benefit the customer as yet another example of the Metalcraft Difference.

Subsurface Printing

This unique printing process protects the bar code/numbers, logos, designs and copy from chemicals, cleaning, abrasion and elevated temperatures by reverse printing on the underside of the material. In addition, no laminate is needed when using this unique subsurface printing process, eliminating the additional cost of a laminate as well as the potential for delamination.

Photo Anodizing Process

Metalcraft’s line of Photo Anodized Tags and Labels uses a photo imaging process that photographically reproduces the image and through the anodizing process seals the image within the anodic layer of the aluminum. This protects the product from chemicals, abrasion and dirt.

Digital Printing

The majority of Metalcraft Tags and Labels are digitally printed meaning the artwork is transferred to the printer electronically. This increases the image quality and eliminates the need for conventional printing plates.

UV Inks and Thermal Curing

Metalcraft’s “AUTOGRAPHS” Color-Designed Nameplates are screen printed with UV inks and clear coat and then processed in a UV thermal cure unit. The inks combined with the clear coat provide a protective coating to the printed image. Click here to watch a video showing our screen printing process.

Adhesives

Metalcraft offers a wide variety of pressure-sensitive adhesives for our tags and labels. Nearly every applicable product has both a standard as well as optional adhesive that allows us to customize the adhesive for your product to ensure maximum adhesion to the surface in which you are applying it.
