UV Defend Bar Code Nameplates and Labels
Developed specifically for outdoor applications exposed to direct sunlight and other extreme environmental conditions, these nameplates and labels feature our image intensification process extending their lifetime to 20 plus years outdoors.
In addition to the intensification process, these tags include a few design "tweaks" intended to take these already durable products and make them even more robust. Both the labels and nameplates feature standard thicker materials - .005" and .012", respectively - while the metal option also comes with a new breakaway tab. In addition, both products feature a standard adhesive involving exposure to high heat and chemicals while optional holes are available with the metal option to afix the nameplate using mechanical fasteners.

Materials
- Metal: .012" thick matte anodized aluminum is standard. Other thicknesses available include: .008", .032" and .063". Tabbed option available with .012" thickness only.
- Foil: .005" thick matte anodized aluminum standard; .003" optional.
- Adhesive (Metal): Standard .0035" pressure-sensitive adhesive; optional .005" adhesive for applications involving exposure to high heat and chemicals; holes for mechanical fasteners also available.
- Adhesive (Foil): Standard .002" pressure-sensitive adhesive; optional .002" thick adhesive for applications involving exposure to high heat and chemicals.
- Environment: Mild, moderate and extreme. Resists extreme abrasion, sovents, temperatures and direct exposure to sunlight.
- Numbering Options: Copy only, serialized/unserialized numbers and bar code with human-readable numbers.
- Production Time: 7 work days
