Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) is the federal
mandate from the EPA that requires facilities to meet fugitive emission standards. Fugitive emissions are gases or vapors that can leak from pressurized equipment through valves, pipe connections and mechanical seals. Emission standards are set by the government to control air quality and reduce pollution.

To comply with LDAR, facilities need a system to document activities. Routine inspection and
