UID Bar Code Cable Labels

Metalcraft's UID Bar Code Cable Label simplifies the task of marking cables, hoses, etc., by providing subsurface printing on one end with the clear part of the label wrapping around the pre-imaged UID information to provide additional protection - ensuring the mark will last the lifetime of the item. The polypropylene construction allows the label to conform to tight radius without unwinding.

Remember - you must also register your UIDs to be totally UID compliant. Read below for details.

• Material: .002" thick polypropylene is standard. .002" thick polyester is optional.
• Adhesive: .002" thick low surface energy, pressure sensitive adhesive. This adhesive has outstanding adherence to plastic surfaces.

REGISTERING YOUR UIDS

Remember simply tagging the asset doesn't equal compliance. The information needs to be sent to the UID Registry in order for the DoD to track the items. Failure to register items may delay payments or even jeopardize future contracts.
