Teflon® Coated UID Nameplates

Got an application that involves exposure to CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) paint? Then we've got the product for you! Metalcraft's revolutionary Teflon® Coated UID Nameplates resist dirt, grease, grime and even dried paint as well as incidental or intermittent contact with strong acids and caustics, as well as temperatures up to 500°F. This product is ideal for applications exposed to CARC paint because the paint won't stick to the Teflon®, but the CARC approved adhesive will stick to the painted surface.

The anodized aluminum combined with the Teflon® coating makes these nameplates one of our most durable products. Black copy, logos, and bar codes are photographically reproduced for maximum clarity and then sealed within the anodic layer of the aluminum. This product is also available with holes for mechanical fasteners.

Remember - you must also register your UIDs to be totally UID compliant. Read below for details.

REGISTERING YOUR UIDS

Remember simply tagging the asset doesn't equal compliance. The information needs to be sent to the UID Registry in order for the DoD to track the items. Failure to register items may delay payments or even jeopardize future contracts.
