MASON CITY, IOWA (October 5, 2021) - Metalcraft RFID Engineer Colynn Black has been promoted to RFID Business Development Director, giving Metalcraft the opportunity to expand and grow company efforts around new RFID business development while continuing to provide technical knowledge that gives new partners the best chance to succeed with their RFID tracking systems.
"Colynn's industry experience as Metalcraft's RFID Engineer will add significant value to our existing partners, as well as new partners in the future. Colynn will be able to present technical concepts that are world-class as Metalcraft's RFID Business Development Director, and we are extremely excited about his new role," said Jared Doerfler, VP of Sales & Business Development.
As RFID Business Development Director Black will focus on developing and building relationships with Metalcraft's RFID industry partners, serve as a brand ambassador in the RFID industry and as an expert in all things RFID, from hardware to ICs.
Black joined Metalcraft as an RFID Engineer in 2017 before being promoted to RFID Team Lead in 2018.
"I have acquired a passion for RFID over the past years, learning the nitty-gritty of what makes radio frequency identification so effective as a technology," Black said. "As RFID Business Development Director, I'll not only be able to problem solve and use my technical background to drive sales, but also open the door for new opportunities by helping customers successfully utilize RFID tracking technology."
Since 1950, Metalcraft has provided property identification solutions from a headquarters in Mason City, Iowa. Metalcraft designs, engineers and manufactures custom RFID and barcode tags and labels for almost any tagging need, especially asset tracking, access control and OEM applications.
