Metalcraft announces promotions in Sales, Manufacturing

MASON CITY, IOWA (July 1, 2022) – Metalcraft is excited to announce a set of promotions in sales and manufacturing that positions the company to continue meeting the needs of a growing market for their ID solutions.

Promotions at MetalcraftJared Doerfler has been promoted to Vice President of Sales & Manufacturing. Doerfler joined Metalcraft in 2017 as Business Development Director before being promoted to Vice President of Sales & Business Development in 2019.

“Over the past 3 years, Jared has provided great leadership to our sales team and is constantly working to better himself as a leader,” said Metalcraft President Kyle Bermel. “I am excited for him to be able to lead both Sales and Manufacturing. I am even more excited for him to implement his vision of Manufacturing here at Metalcraft.”

Brandon Nicholson has been promoted to Manufacturing Manager. Nicholson has been with Metalcraft since 2013 as a Technical Specialist before being promoted to Technical Specialist/Customer Service Lead and then Technical Specialist Lead/ERP Specialist.

“Brandon is a change agent who can work with anyone - he is constantly looking at how to make things better,” Bermel said. His past experience and lean mindset will allow him to have an even bigger impact here at Metalcraft.”

Brandy Pedersen, who has been with Metalcraft since 2008, has been promoted to RFID lead. She also will continue her role as CI Improvement Specialist while leading the RFID team.

“Brandy is a tremendous team lead,” Bermel said. “She will continue to facilitate the growth and expansion of RFID at Metalcraft.”

Tonya Ristau has been promoted to Senior Inside Sales Representative/Inside Sales Lead, continuing her 15 years of responsibility for Metalcraft’s inside sales team. Ristau started in customer service before moving into a TeleChannels role and then Inside Sales in 2011.

“Tonya is a high performer who has vast knowledge that she can pass on to her new team members,” Bermel said.

Chelsey Kopp has been promoted to ERP/Technical Specialist. Since joining Metalcraft in 2018 as a Technical Specialist, she also has become part of the Safety Team, Wellness Team and Innovation Implementation Team.  

“Chelsey has a great understanding of our systems and will be a great fit to take over the management of our enterprise system,” Bermel said.
