Tamper Evident Labels - One Product, Two Applications

Tamper evident labels

Everyone likes a good deal, right? Well what if I told you that you could get an asset tag that would perform not one, but two applications for you with our Tamper Evident Labels? More on that in a second, first I want to quickly review the benefits of having an asset tracking program. Many of you out there are already familiar with the benefits of an asset tracking program, but for anyone who isn't familiar or may need a refresher here are a couple of the big ones.

  1. Maximize the use of existing assets by being able to track valuable information about them, i.e. maintenance or warranty information.
  2. Saving money by eliminating unnecessary equipment purchases because you can't locate a piece of equipment.
  3. Potential tax savings or reduction on insurance premiums attributed to tracking depreciation or correct valuation of existing assets.

These are the ones you are probably most familiar with, but did you know with the correct asset tag you can incorporate security features into your asset tracking application.

Security products like Tamper-Evident Barcode Labels and Security Barcode Labels serve a dual purpose - the barcode and/or serial number printed on them allows you to track valuable information about the asset it is on taking advantage of the benefits I have already mentioned while the Tamper-Evident or Security Labels also deter theft or prevent unauthorized asset transfer due to their unique physical properties. Using these types of products essentially gives you two products for the price of one. So, when you are thinking about implementing an asset tracking program consider using a security product to add a level of security to your application.
