Regular barcode labels will not stand up to repeat paint applications, but Metalcraft’s Permanent Paint-Mask Barcode labels will. These unique labels feature a special fluoropolymer laminate very similar to Teflon® coating in that it resists multiple paint applications (approximately 10-12), grease, even graffiti, and can withstand temperatures up to 250 °F. After painting customers simply pick off the dried paint and are left with a clean, easy-to-scan polyester barcode label – a great solution for work-in-process.
Permanent Paint-Mask Barcode Labels are produced using a subsurface printing process that protects the logos, copy and barcode against extreme solvents, caustics, acids, and moderate abrasion. In addition, Metalcraft’s digital printing process ensures even the most detailed logo will look crisp and clean. Custom colors available at no additional charge.
