Discourage theft and keep your property intact with Metalcraft’s Tamper-Evident Barcode Labels.
If someone attempts to remove the label, the word “VOID” is left behind on the surface of the asset and the back of the label. Add a barcode and/or human readable number to the label and use it as part of an overall asset tracking system.
Use these labels to make a statement about your company or school by displaying a logo or stylized type in any of our standard colors – or select a custom color at no additional charge. Subsurface printing provides an extra layer of protection for logos, copy and barcode against solvents, caustics/acids and mild abrasion. This unique process eliminates the need for a laminate thereby eliminating the additional cost as well as the possibility of delamination.
Potential Applications for Tamper Evident Barcode Labels
Teflon® Coated Nameplates are easy to clean, acid-resistant and temperature-resistant up to 500 °F.
Available with or without a barcode, Teflon® Coated Nameplates are ideal for customers who require permanent nameplates to stand up in extremely harsh environments. These nameplates are perfect for tracking assets, fugitive emissions and work-in-process. Their fast and accurate barcode reading makes the scanning process simple. Black copy, logos, and barcodes are photographically reproduced for maximum clarity and detail and then sealed within the anodic layer of the aluminum. The anodized aluminum combined with the Teflon coating makes these nameplates one of our most durable products.
Teflon® Coated Barcode Nameplates come with a standard adhesive that bonds extremely well to plastic or powder coated metal surfaces and bonds well to bare metal surfaces. This product is also available with optional holes for mechanical fasteners.
Tesa® 6973 PV6 label stock is a flexible, durable, and economical 2-layer polyacrylic film designed for producing laser cut and etched linear and IUID 2D Data Matrix labels. Offering excellent adhesion to LSE plastics, Tesa® 6973 PV6 is a proven, MIL-STD-130 compliant label stock you can rely on for outstanding long-term performance in multiple marking applications.
The black top layer is bonded to a white base layer to form a strong homogeneous unite. A modified acrylic adhesive provides excellent grip, even on low-energy surfaces such as polypropylene.
Our Polyester IUID Labels are a superb general purpose option for industrial applications where durability, excellent adhesion and cost is a factor.
Effective across a wide range of temperatures, polyester labels offer permanent acrylic adhesion and excellent image quality. Their thermal receive coating provides cross-links with resin ribbons to form a chemical and abrasion resistant image.
Polyester label substrate colors include:
- Gloss
- Matte White
- Silver
- Clear
Polyester IUID labels can be thermal transfer printed with human and machine-readable information using high-contrast black print resin.
Metalcraft's Thermalmark Polyester Labels offer the durability of a pre-printed label with the flexibility to custom print information on-site as needed. The thermal transfer receptive topcoat of the Thermalmark allows labels to be easily customized with different text, barcodes, or serial numbers printed through a thermal transfer printer.
Tagging your assets with our labels is just the beginning of an efficient asset management process. Once affixed, you simply remove the tab containing the matching ID number and attach it to your records. This simple yet effective step streamlines record-keeping by providing a clear, visual reference point for each asset.
The inclusion of a separate tab serves to simplify record-keeping procedures while significantly reducing the risk of errors that may arise from manual data entry or handwritten paperwork. By eliminating the need for handwritten ID numbers or manual cross-referencing, our system minimizes the likelihood of transcription mistakes or data discrepancies.
To further enhance convenience and accuracy, labels with matching ID numbers are conveniently provided together on a single roll. This ensures that each label and its corresponding tab are systematically paired, facilitating smooth implementation and minimizing the potential for mix-ups or mislabeling errors.
