MASON CITY, Iowa (October 19, 2023) - Metalcraft's RFID Rearview Mirror Hang Tag received first place during the TLMI Printing Excellence Awards ( TLMI Award ) within the category of "Innovation, Single Application, Linerless & Sustainability." Our product met the requirements for this category from TLMI and it was deemed to be both innovative and "outside of the box" by the judging panel for the TLMI Award.
What is TLMI Printing Excellence Award?
The 46th Annual TLMI Printing Excellence Awards are meant to celebrate both printing and converting achievements in the North American Label and Packaging Industry. These awards recognize a variety of different print processes, from gravure and digital to flexography, offset, rotary screen and multi-process. TLMI's goal is to provide worldwide exposure for the high-quality labels that printing companies make.
Several special challenges came up during the production process for this product. These included registering the RFID inlay with the four color process double-sided registered print. The award is significant because we received recognition from a distinguished panel of judges consisting of top industry peers.
